Regency R16 Wood Insert - Airtube 160-953
This part is to replace the weld-in style airtube. This Air tube is 1.25" x 21" Long
For use on the Regency R16 wood inserts manufactured Feb. 1990 – June 1992 Only
There are no instructions from the factory for this product, to install:
- Using a pair of channel locks, grab on to the old tube and twist the tube to break the weld that is holding it in place and remove air tube
- Slide the end of the new tube without the threaded hole up on to the welded stub inside the firebox of the stove.
- Slide the tube all the way onto the stub to allow the other end of the tube to slide up into the other side of the stove and it's stub
- Slide the tube back to center
- Install the provided set screw in to the airtube screwing it down tight enough to pinch the tube/set screw against the stub to hold the new air tube in place
