Lopi 400 cfm Blower (Version 2)
We have a wood stove (Lopi Evergreen) in the corner of our great room. The room has a ceiling fan that distributes any heat generated from the stove. We purchased the blower in hopes that it would provide more heat distribution for the room. Installation took about 40 minutes most of which was spent figuring out the instructions ( a short on-line video of the process would help greatly). The only issue in the installation were the wires to the snap disc were too short which necessitated bending the connection posts to allow the wires to connect. Maybe that was the intent but it was not covered in the instructions. Once installed and a fire built it takes about 30 to 35 minutes for the blower to start. The blower does provide more output of heat towards the center of the room and it has more than accomplished what we had hoped. I would recommend this product even though the price is steep.

Lopi rear mount blower
I am very happy with the product. It shipped quickly and everything needed for the installation was included. I only needed a couple of basic tools. Installation was easy and everything fit as expected. You really don't notice that it's on the stove since it's on the back but the installation is neat and professional looking. The on/off/speed adjustment attaches with a magnet next to the damper and looks like it came with the stove. Total installation was probably less than 30 minutes and a lot of that was an old man trying to get down between the stove and the wall. The stove has to heat up before the fan will come on, and that took about 20 minutes (a little longer than I thought it would). It is not silent but I don't think it's unreasonably loud. It's a fan running. Lots of heat! It pushes the heat out into the room and the amount of wood I'm burning has dropped probably by half.
