This rear heat shield has been specifically designed for the Jøtul F 600 to reduce clearances off the rear of the stove to combustible materials. Use of the heat shield does not affect the clearance off the sides of the appliance. See pages your owners manual for specific clearance requirements. Complete installation instructions are supplied with the heat shield. No other type of heat shield may be used on the rear of the Jøtul F 600
