Jotul F 500 v1 Oslo Wood Stove Matte Black Top Casting
Includes: Matte Black Top Casting #103851 with gasket attached.
This casting is for the Jotul F 500 v1 was built between 2000 and 2017 with serial numbers below 15003450. The v2 and v3 stoves built 2017 - current have a slightly different aesthetic top casting, but this casting will work on all models.
Installation instruction:
1. Remove the top of the stove by removing the three top bolts with a 10 mm socket. The front two can be removed by reaching in thought the front door in-between the baffle and the front casting of the stove. To remove the back bolt you will need to disconnect the flue pipe and reach in though the flue collar to access the rear bolt. (see RED ARROWS in picture above to help locate three bolts locations)
Carefully lift the top off of the stove and set aside
2. Remove center oval cook plate from old casting and install it on the new casting
3. Reinstall top of stove
4. Re-connect venting
This item does NOT include the bolts that secure it to the stove, you may use your current hardware, or pick them up at a local hardware store they are listed below
3 x Metric M6 x 20 Hex head bolts
3 x M6 fender washers
