This is a OEM Jotul Part - Jotul #10411512 AKA Jotul 104115, Jotul 12018330, Jotul 12048916Measurements: 17 1/2" x 7 1/2"
Part Description:
The baffle plate restricts the exhaust of the fire from directly exiting the stove and going up the chimney, this means that the hot flue gases have to travel further before they get out of the stove, giving the stove more time to pull the heat out of the Fire. The Baffle also mixes the flue gases causing a better combustion in the firebox and therefore more heat can be transferred from the firebox to the stove body and less pollution is created
Replacement Instructions:
- If your old baffle is distorted, you may be required to cut it apart to get it out of the firebox
- The baffle rests on the side burn plates, Lift the existing baffle up slightly.
- Pull the baffle forward and to the side and then tilt it down so that one side of the baffle is resting on the floor of the firebox
- The Baffle should now be able to be lifted out the front door
