Hearthstone expects the refractory panels to have a useful life of about 3 to 5 years. If you are experiencing a shorter interval, adjust your loading procedure, or burning technique.
Refer to Figure 14 and the following images and procedure to remove or replace the vermiculite refractory panels. Work only on a cold stove
