The Green Mountain 80 by Hearthstone is stove will comfortably heat 900 to 2000 square feet. This Hybrid combustion system has vermiculite baffles, combustion tubes and a catalytic combustor for a very clean burning EPA Rating of 0.7g/hr The firebox is lined with Hearthstones signature soapstone, giving it an extra durable feel.
A mixture of tried and true meets cutting edge in our new TryHybridTM combustion system. This technology provides an ultra clean burn with efficiencies over 80% while delivering previously impossible burn times. The Green Mountain 80 has a large viewing window which affords an impressive view of the fire and the cast iron body incorporates more contemporary styling cues to fit in virtually any home.
This stove requires 8" Chimney and a minimum of 12 feet of chimney height at sea level and 14-16 feet of chimney at high altitudes to draft properly. (Chimney height is measured from the top of the stove to the chimney cap)
