Great Little Insert
We toyed with the idea of a fireplace insert for our non-functional coal fireplace and via word of mouth, contacted an installer to measure and recommend options. The installer (Fireplace and Grill Experts) recommended the Enviro Q1 insert as one of the few to fit our size requirements. Over the course of the next many months, we visited 3 shops, one in Greenwood Village, one in central Denver, and Rocky Mountain Stove out in Lakewood. One shop did not have the model for us to view but used our preferred installer, and one had an somewhat overbearing representative who gave a single price for the unit using their installation crew. Rocky Mountain had the nicest, most complete shop. Because they communicate directly with our installer, they were able to give us the complete invoice for the model we wanted, including the extra fittings needed for our specific installation. They were not pushy but our guy Adam knew this stove and its options and could answer every question. Eventually, we made the decision and within 2 weeks, we had fire! Even with the unseasonably warm weather, we click it on for an hour in the morning and wish we had done this years ago. Some people may prefer the all-in-once-price approach, but we were happy enough paying separately for the insert and installation. I feel like we got the best of each this way. There was a minor glitch after I paid the final invoice online, but Adam resolved that with their processor after a quick email exchange. Totally recommend this place.
